Whirlwind Weekend - Part 1 - The Strawberry Festival

So this is our big whirlwind weekend for March - trip to the Strawberry Festival, Uncle Daniel's wedding and also a trip down to Tice so Mommy can preach for Homecoming Sunday.

Mommy started off this morning with a HIDA scan for her gallbladder. After getting a shot of radioactive dye, she got to lay under one of those scanning machines for 2 hours. At the end of 2 hours, Mommy was told that she has so many gallstones the test didn't work right and the dye didn't go through the gallbladder like it was supposed to. After that it was back to the house to pick up all the boys and head out to the Festival.

It's a family tradition to go to the Strawberry Festival in Plant City every year. This year we took Uncle Clark with us. Here we are at the Parkesdale farms booth.

Wesley slept through most of his first trip riding around in the sling with Mommy. Parker had a lot of fun riding some of the rides this year. He did the big slide all by himself. He did a race car ride and got to ride in his favorite Nascar car: the green one from Interstate Batteries. He did something called the Crazy Plane and went up in the air and finished up his day at the kiddie bumper boats.

The last thing we did before leaving was to hit the famous St. Clement's Catholic Church Strawberry Shortcake Booth. It was awesome as usual!
