These Are The Days of Our Lives

Well it was bound to happen... Wesley caught something. Our efforts to keep him away from Parker must have worked because he didn't catch strep - he caught a virus that has settled in his lungs.

Yesterday Wesley woke up sounding congested and with a slight fever. His naps were shortened because he kept coughing and waking himself up. It was much worse when we tried to put him in bed for the night - he slept for about an hour and then was up and down every 15 minutes for the rest of the night coughing. Daddy took him to the doctor's office this morning and the doctor called it "the crud." So it's a few days for Wesley on some steroids.

Parker still has several more days of antibiotics but seems to be feeling much better. While he still fights us on taking naps, when you can get him to lay down he'll sleep for a couple of hours. But today there was no argument and when Mommy came home she found him curled up asleep with Daddy in the office, while Wesley slept peacefully finally in his own bed.
