After worship on Sunday morning, we came home for a bit to nap and then headed out to Brandon. Aunt Jani was hosting a party at Davis Park to introduce everyone to Sam's girlfriend Sarah, who is over here visiting from Germany. She is very sweet and it's nice to see Sam so happy.
Parker took several pictures of the gathering that we're going to post on his blog. The boys also took off with Grandaddy for a while for a nice long nature walk through the park.
After the party the boys stayed with Grandmommy and Granddaddy while Mommy, Daddy and Grandma went to a funeral in Lakeland for the mother of one of our former pastors in Seffner. Phillip was the pastor who married us and baptized both our boys and Phillip's dad Riley was Daddy's preaching professor in seminary so we wanted to go and pay our respects. It probably one of the biggest funerals we've ever attended and it was an absolutely beautiful service.
