Trip to the Corn Maze

Mommy saw an article a couple of weeks ago in the local Moms magazine about the Coon Hollo Corn Maze in Micanopy, Florida. And that's where we headed out to late this afternoon. It was great! A family owned farm that in October turns into a little festival on weekends. The centerpiece is the corn maze, but there is a "train ride" and a wagon ride where you go to the back pasture to feed the cows, plus a small pumpkin patch, concession stands and a playground area for kids with fun farm stuff to do. The boys had a blast and we even did the corn maze twice!

The corn maze - our first trip through!

Our wagon ride up to the back pasture to feed the cows - Parker and Mommy both fed the cows. Wesley wanted to also, but got a little frightened when he got close and realized how big they were!

The playground area - Hay Fort!

Playing in the corn.

Riding the bull - Wesley had a hard time hanging on to Bubby, so he ended up helping Daddy make the ride go!

"Milking" the cow.

Riding the train.

Our second trip through the corn maze - as we were leaving to go home close to dusk, Parker asked if we could go through the corn maze one more time. Wesley got into it more this time and we let the little guy decide which path to choose at every intersection.

Debbie & Daryl,
What a really neat thing to do as a family. It looks like you had a great time.
