More Thanksgiving

Today we're thankful......

Thankful that Parker's cough isn't anything more serious - we had him checked out at the doctor today and no strep or bronchitis....
Thankful to have found a pediatrician's office that we like - all of the teachers at Wesley's preschool take their kids to Children's Health of Ocala and we felt at ease with Dr. Siddiqui ....

And we're especially thankful for the wonderful Thanksgiving Dinner we were able to share with the folks at Druid Hills this evening. They bought several turkeys and sent them home to be cooked with different families. Then everyone else came and brought their favorite side dishes, while the church provided apple pie and pumpkin pie for dessert. It was wonderful! About 130 people showed up and the mountain of food upon the tables was certainly delicious. It was great to be able to taste test all different kinds of stuffing, gravy, mashed potatoes and vegetables! Wesley decided the only things he would eat tonight were mashed potatoes and a whole slice of pumpkin pie. When he and Parker were done, they shed their shoes and entertained themselves (and a bunch of other people) by running around and talking to people and eventually helping to clean up.
