6 Year Old Checkup

Yesterday Parker had his 6 year well visit with the doctor. He passed the vision and hearing screenings with no problems. He weighed in at 45lbs and measured 45.5 inches tall which is about average for his age. The good news of his visit yesterday was no shots and no more are scheduled until he's 11; that made him a very happy camper. The not-so-good news to Parker was that they wanted to stick his finger to do an iron check. He was not very happy about that at first but eventually he allowed the nurse to do the test and fortunately the results were also in the normal range. So he's cleared for another year unless he gets sick.
