At Christmastime when we went with Daddy's church to sing at the Festival of Lights, we received several free passes for Silver Springs good on weekdays only. Today while the boys were at school, Mommy and Daddy went to check it out. Both of us had been before, but not since we were little children. It was interesting to walk around and see so much of old Florida. There are some other rides and children's play areas - we plan on taking the boys back soon as we know that they would enjoy it.
The Glass Bottom Boat Ride to see some of the springs.
The Wilderness Trail area included the giraffe house, world of bears and an offroad jeep tour.
The Lost River Jungle Cruise further down the Silver River into Ocala National Forest.
Spirit of the Swamp - An assortment of Gators, birds, turtles and panthers on Ross Allen island.
The Allen Family was established in 1999 and currently resides in Fruitland Park, Florida. Debbie and Daryl are both ordained pastors in the United Methodist Church. They have three sons: Parker, Wesley and Davis. Join us for our Allen Family Adventures!
