Monster Jam

Saturday morning we headed out and spent part of the morning at the Founder's Day Festival in Belleview at City Hall. The city of Belleview is turning 125 years old this year! We were just in time to see the Drakes nephew Jaden win Little Mr Belleview all dressed up in his cowboy boots and hat complete with lasso!

When we left Belleview we headed for North Ocala and grabbed lunch on the way to the Speedway Track. We got there in time for the Pit Party - where all six monster trucks were out with their drivers for you to see. One of the Blue Thunder trucks has been modified with seats in the bed of the truck and we got to ride in Blue Thunder around the track which was awesome!!!!

During the Monster Jam event, there was ATV racing and some special motorcross bikes doing stunts - Wesley really liked the motorcycles. And the monster trucks had three events.....wheelies (Gravedigger won!!!!), timed racing (Mopar Magic won and Blue Thunder came in second) and freestyle (Taz won and Gravedigger came in second by one point). We roasted in the sun but we really did have a blast!!
