That bridge is 1.1 miles from the parking lot, meaning we hiked 2.2 miles total with the boys. Today we got to the land bridge and kept on moving. We hiked another 2.4 miles out to the trailhead at 49th Avenue. This trail gets a lot more challenging past the land bridge, narrowing and going up and down. It's not only good exercise but it gives us a good chance to just talk about all kinds of things. It took us a few hours but we made it and hiked the entire 7 miles!
