Last Sunday was a busy and special day in the Allen house.
Parker and Daryl spent the morning at Druid Hills.
It was Scout Sunday there and Parker participated helping to represent Pack 112.
He brought in the Cub Scout Pack flag and also read the morning Scripture lessons.
He did a GREAT job!
Meanwhile in Belleview, Wesley and I were part of the 2nd annual Church Has Left the Building Event. We spent our time across the street from the church at Belleview Elementary.
Together we picked up trash.....
Raked leaves.....
Dug holes for the plants......
And planted flowers....
We had a great group of very diverse folks helping out and it was so much fun!
Afterwards we joined everyone else for lunch and a time of testimonies in the Fellowship Hall.
Even at 5 years old, Wesley learned that he could make a difference by doing something for others.
That's what Church Has Left The Building is all about.
