The End of an Era

One of our boys has played tball here in Ocala every fall and spring since we moved here in the summer of 2009. That's eight seasons of tball we've spent as a family at Jervey Gantt Park, two of those as coaches. It's been a really good run.

Last Saturday was the end of the spring season, and we believe the end of an era for the Allen family. We're hoping to move Wesley over to the Rotary in the fall to play rookie ball there.

Wesley did very well in the game and everyone seemed to have a good time. Afterwards we went over to the playground at Jervey Gantt and had a little party, complete with trophies for all of the boys. Coach Daryl had a few words about each boy and their progress throughout the season as they received their trophy.
