Grandma Update

Last night I traveled back to Seffnef to stay with my mom and this morning we headed early down to Moffitt so she could get her chemo port inserted. It was a long day but everything went very well with the port placement. Afterwards we spent more time in the breast clinic getting additional information about the chemo and its side effects and how to counteract them. She received and has started taking the clinical research med (6 pills in the am, 6 in the pm). Her first chemo treatment will take place on Valentine's Day next week.
