Our family's spring break vacation started on Sunday March 23rd, after a wonderful morning of worship at both churches and a special musical program in Belleview. The minivan was packed and ready to go, so we took off as soon as we all got home and changed. Our destination for the week was Kissimmee - Grandma let us have one of her timeshare weeks and we swapped for a week at the Wyndham Cypress Palms there.
Here's Davis entertaining himself on the drive down by making puppets out of his socks.
We were all very, very happy with our condo home for the week. Checkin was fast and we unloaded all of our gear and took a quick tour of our new digs. The boys shared the second bedroom with two full-size beds. They had a walk-in closet and a huge bathroom too. The back porch had a view of one of the hot tubs and pools.
We always like to start our vacations in the Orlando area with a trip to Downtown Disney. We had dinner reservations at the Rainforest Cafe there. We had a fantastic server, the food was yummy, a great location and the boys enjoyed the atmosphere - including the "thunderstorms" that happened every ten minutes inside the restaurant.
Daryl took the boys window shopping a little bit while I stood in line at guest services to hook our Florida Resident 4 day passes up to our Magic Bands from our overnight stay back in January. We didn't linger too long though because the next morning would be an early day as we visited the Magic Kingdom.
