Last Friday we spent some time at Fruitland Park elementary working on a project for the kindergarten classes. It's an outdoor classroom area with several different sensory zones. There's a butterfly garden, vegetable garden boxes, a musical area, outdoor chalkboards, a play kitchen and a little amphitheater underneath the trees. It was the design of Mrs. Bishop who is the kindergarten department head and whose husband is on staff at the church. Mrs. Bishop will also be Davis' teacher this coming year at school.
