Boy Scouts - Campout and Court of Honor

Last weekend Parker spent most of his time on his first campout with the new Boy Scout Troop. They went camping out at Lake Geneva for a merit badge fair. Parker had the chance to work on four different badges over the weekend including Citizenship in the World, Environmental Science, Fire Safety and Fingerprinting. With the weather conditions they slept outside in tents the first night and inside a building with bunkbeds on the second night.

While we had the first session of our first New Member class in the Fellowship Hall on Monday night, Parker had his first Court of Honor experience in our Family Life Center with his new troop. He received his Tenderfoot rank and the five merit badges he had worked on over the weekend. He's making great progress!
