Tuesday evening was the closing dinner and awards for Upwards Basketball at the church. We had hot dogs with baked beans and potato salad and of course cake!
The cheerleaders performed again before receiving their awards and then all of the teams were called up to be recognized and receive their awards. Davis' team was the Tigers with Coach Norm. Wesley's team was the Warriors with Coach Jason. And Coach Kelly and Coach Tom had Parker's team the Bulldogs. Each child received a basketball for their participation this season as well as a some other prizes including stickers, lapel pins, pictures and a DVD. The boys all had a great time playing this season and you could see improvement in their teams as the season progressed as well!
