Last Friday Daryl and I volunteered at Fruitland Park Elementary for the boys' first Field Day there. All the K-2 classes were out on the field from 9-11am and the older classes went out in the afternoon.
Daryl and I ran the one-legged race and each class rotated over to us for a turn. This meant we got to work with all the groups and still see Davis and Wesley for a bit. We had these circles of cut up inner tube that the kids put around their ankles and then hopped down to the flags and back. Davis actually did quite well with this - a skill that would have been impossible for him when he first came home. His motor skills have improved quite a bit!
And Wesley did awesome too, putting his own special spin and flourish on hopping!
