This past week we spent on vacation in Orlando in our home away from home. My parents' bought this timeshare unit back in 1982 at the Orlando International Resort Club and we stayed here and went to Disney/Sea World most every spring break of my childhood. When they bought it, there was nothing on the east end of I-drive near the condo and now you can hardly find it for all the outlet malls. Thankfully it's still pretty quiet around the resort and it's been well maintained and updated over the years. Now Daryl and I get to carry forward that tradition with our own boys.
The big boys checked out sports equipment for the week and loved being able to go out every morning to play a bit of basketball and tennis and also take Davis to the playground.
It was great to be back and to share this with my own family. The timeshare made a great home base for all of our vacation adventures!
