These great volunteers came into the church during the week to get 300 flood buckets ready to be handed out today after worship. Thanks to a church member who works for Lowe's we got 150 free and then another 150 for cost, that the music ministry paid for. Every bucket was labeled and stuffed with a list of the needed cleaning supplies. Buckets will come back next Sunday and then we will transport them all to the pickup point in Gainesville - churches throughout our Florida Conference have pledged to fill a semi truck with 1,850 flood buckets to help the cleanup relief efforts in Louisiana from last month's flooding.
