We got back out the Batman and Robin costumes on Saturday morning to run the second annual Trick or Trot Costume 5k to benefit Fruitland Park Elementary School.
It was a beautiful morning for a run and there were some great views around Mirror Lake in town.
All of the guys in our family finished first or second in their respective age brackets. Wesley finished 3rd OVERALL in the race with a time of 25:10!!!!!
Davis ran/walked with Baba for half of the race, which was a first for him. He's usually pretty content to sit in the stroller. About a block in, he decided to run and man did he take off, cape flying in the wind behind him! At the turnaround, he crawled back into the stroller with Mama and then got out near the end because he wanted to run across the finish line himself. He did manage to win first place in the kids costume contest, in his adorable Robin outfit.
