Advent Kickoff

We kicked off Advent at worship on Sunday and both the sanctuary and the FLC looked awesome. The FLC is all done up like the inside of a winter cabin.

Daryl did the prayers and announcements this week and wore his second of the bowties from the UMW's Missions Possible Auction. He auctioned off his neck space for two Sundays to raise money for missions.

I played the piano for the prelude at both of the traditional services this week. It was the first time I'd played the piano in church in probably twenty years. It was a great way to feel close to my parents and grandparents this holiday season.

Wesley videotaped me at the early service. This is Michael W. Smith's "Musical Instruments."
