Some helpers making mashed potatoes for Thanksgiving!
We only took a couple of pictures on the actual Thanksgiving day. What a great spread!
Enjoying Granddaddy's Christmas Village all set up.
Friday morning I spent some time with my family at the cemetery and some of Daryl's family as well.

Family Fun Day started in the afternoon. The family met up and we went down to Channelside and caught the trolley over to Ybor City. There has been so much revitalization of downtown Tampa and Ybor and it was wonderful to see and experience. We walked all along 7th Street in Ybor before catching the trolley back to Channelside for dinner.

Then we took the trolley all the way into downtown and walked a few blocks over to Curtis Hixon park on the waterfront. Surrounding the park is the Glazer Children's Museum and the Tampa Museum of Art and a large children's playground down by the Riverwalk. For the holidays they put out shopping as well as an ice rink. And since the historic Tampa Theatre is closed right now for restoration, they are sponsoring holiday movies outside on a large blowup screen in the park. We watched the original Miracle on 34th Street!! It was a great family holiday.

I would like to play golf with Daryl, but he would have to give me one stoke per hole.
