On the 27th, we left Seffner and drove down south for our cruise. We stopped off at the halfway point in Fort Myers to drive around our old stomping grounds for a little bit and ended up at a new restaurant downtown - Ford's Garage.
In Miami Beach, we spent the night with a clergy colleague with her family at her parsonage. The boys loved her boys and their dog and being right on the water. Plus the house across the canal was apparently owned by a player from the Miami Heat.
On the 28th we drove to the nearby Port of Miami for our 5-night cruise on the Carnival Sensation. We were some of the first to board and enjoyed being able to drop off our carryons in our room, grab some lunch, change into our swim stuff and spend time at Water Works.

Our second day on the ship was an at sea day. More relaxing on deck, more water slides. A little bit of touring around the boat, dinner, some time in Camp Carnival for the kids and time in the arcade.
