Thursday we spent with Grandmommy and Granddaddy at Animal Kingdom. It was a lot of fun to spend time with them at Disney World and the boys enjoyed getting to show them some of their favorite things. Right away we ran into DiVine at the entrance.
And then the Tree of Life.
We went through the land of Pandora from the movie Avatar.
We grabbed lunch in the Satuli Canteen. This boy loved his cheeseburger "pods" - like steamed buns.
Then it was time for Wesley's favorite - the Festival of the Lion King show.
Then we walked through the nature trails to see monkeys, birds, gorillas and more.
We got snacks and spent some time at the It's Tough To Be A Bug Show near the tree.
Then it was on to Dino Land - Davis was finally tall enough to ride Primeval Whirl and got to use his fastpass to get the Mama and Baba and his brothers up to the front of the line with him.
Some carnival games and the two big boys earned some prizes.
We watched folks ride Expedition Everest for a while.
We went on a sunset ride with the Kilimanjaro Safaris. Lots of animals were out and about.
We finished up the evening with some more snacks and stood in line for the Navi' River Journey in Pandora. It got cold while we were in there! On our way out of the park, we got to see some of the cool bioluminescent plants around Pandora. It was a wonderful day!
