Fun About Town

Parker chilling out in the morning after breakfast.....

We made it out for a round of footgolf on Sunday morning! 

Wesley beat everyone with a score of 38 and Parker was one kick behind him at 39. Daryl and I both scored in the 40s and Davis rounded it out in the 50s. It is always so much fun and so peaceful out on the course.

Then we headed over for some play time at the athletic fields and park. 

We went back into Cashiers and did some window shopping and a teeny bit of actual shopping - we bought homemade dog treats for Bella.

Dinner was at Mica's Restaurant back in Sapphire. It's named for Mica gem mining. This is a favorite local restaurant of ours. We opted to eat out on the deck and watch the woods and the mountain.

Buffalo shrimp for the guys as an appetizer. Then Daryl and Wesley had cheesy bacon burgers, Parker had a stromboli, Davis had spaghetti and meatballs and I got rainbow trout. As always, it was delicious.

We finished up our day with some time in the indoor pool. Davis got in and started swimming like a fish right away!!! And they all had fun playing with the football in the pool, making some new friends, and showing up their jumps and flips.
