More Christmas Lights

The Cottom Family in Weirsdale decorates their family farm each year and creates a Christmas Village. We know them through Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts and have been out to the farm before for swimming and camping, but we've never been to the Christmas Village until this year.

The Cottom's Christmas Village was featured this year on ABC's Great Christmas Light Fight earlier this month. We went as a family on Sunday evening to see the lights, take a hayride and walk through the decorated house and meet Mr. and Mrs. Claus. The lights all around the property were beautiful but they didn't photograph well with my phone. The pictures from the house turned out so much better. It was fun and a very nice break in the midst of all the things we have to do in the next couple of days.
