Wesley's Last JAG Games

Wesley competed Saturday in the last JAG (Junior Athletic Games) of his elementary career. Held at Leesburg High School stadium, it is sponsored by the Leesburg Police Department and involves six local elementary schools. 

Wesley's Half Mile Event - Wesley was chosen as a 5th grader to compete in the boys' half mile event - two laps arounds the track. He came in second overall!!!! 

Wesley's 4x100m Relay Event - this was the very LAST event of the day. Mixed boys and girls relay - with a representative from second grade, third grade, fourth grade and fifth grade. Wesley ran the anchor leg for his team and he helped them finish in second place!!!!

 The very final presentation was for the overall points trophy. Fruitland Park was the defending champions and they just squeaked out a win and kept their first place status!!!!

It was a really fun day to be able to watch Wesley and to celebrate with him and as a family with Grandmommy!
