We drove to Gainesville on Monday in anticipation of getting Davis' bottom braces off. That did not happen. The doctor ultimately decided that they need to stay on until after Davis' bone graft surgery next month and through the healing process. So today he just had his wires changed out to get ready for the surgery on October 11th. It took quite a while to get the top wire adjusted though so that it wasn't putting any pressure or tension on his teeth. He fell asleep in the chair waiting for the adjustments to be done!
