On Sunday we held a Blue Christmas service after the regular worship services in the sanctuary. The most special part of that service is always the part where people wrote the names of their departed loved ones on the ornaments and put them on the tree.
Then later on Sunday night the boys all went to Christmas parties at the church for youth group (Parker) and the Connect preteen group (Wesley and Davis). They all wore their Star Wars holiday shirts. The youth went to a local coffeehouse for their party. And the preteens went to Joey and Jenn's house for their celebration. When they all gathered back at church, we realized that Parker ended up matching with our children's director.
