I'm not a morning person but I get up early on Ash Wednesday every year to do Ashes to Go in the parking lot of our church. It's always very meaningful to start the day that way and to pray with all the people who come by in the morning. It's beautiful to wear the ashes on your forehead as a witness all day long too.
