For our 21st Anniversary on Friday, we went for a hike. We found this great place called Black Bear Wilderness Area in Sanford, about an hour away. The trail is a big loop of a little 7 miles. About 3 miles of it go alongside the St. John's River, hiking on top of the berm. We saw all kinds of wildlife - a gator, hawk, deer and some other birds. No bears this time (there are warning signs about them). There were some beautiful flowers too and interesting trees. In some of the wetter areas there were boardwalks - 14 total along the loop. When we got home, we got takeout for dinner and watched a a new movie on Netflix (Palm Springs).
