Inauguration

The benefits of virtual school - the boys got to watch all of the inauguration coverage this week. What a historic event - an inauguration in the midst of heightened security, health protocols for Covid, and the swearing in of the first woman Vice-President. I wore purple for the suffragette movement, along with my pearls and my Chucks that Daryl got me for Christmas. Several other women in my class were dressed similarly. 

This was my favorite meme from Tuesday on facebook. 

I felt like my Grandma Washburn taking pictures of the TV, but it was so cool to see this moment; and sworn in by the first woman of color from the Supreme Court, Justice Sotomayor.
