Dinner this past week included Coconut Sugar Glazed Pork Chops with polenta and steamed vegetables.
The garden is holding its own. It's so hot this year a lot of things ended up getting scorched.
The basil plant is doing well however. It has taken off so well that this week I made pesto and dried a bunch of it out to use in recipes later. I harvested 7 cups of basil from the plant and it still has a ton of leaves left to grow out.
I also made hummus from scratch with a recipe that my best friend Christy found for me.
With all these growing teenage boy appetites in our house
we finally had to get a Sam's Club membership too!
