Disney Christmas

What better way to end the workweek than by leaving the office at 5pm on a Thursday and heading to Disney with your good friend to check out Christmas decorations?

We started at Port Orleans - French Quarter Resort to try the Mickey-shaped beignets. These are allergy friendly and I could eat them. They were absolutely delicious!

The lobby of the hotel was so brightly decorated - loved the Mardi Gras masks on the trees.

Next up was Epcot. They've got a special rotating lightshow going now on Spaceship Earth outside that is phenomenal.

This is the continents moving around the globe and the blue is oceans

We strolled through the World Showcase and got some coffee and cider. American Adventure was supposed to have a giant gingerbread house in the rotunda but they had not assembled it yet!

We exited Epcot at World Showcase and walked over to the Beach and Yacht Club Resorts. Beach always has a gingerbread carousel and this year's was Little Mermaid themed. So detailed and breathtaking.

Then we walked over to the next hotel, Yacht Club, to see their Christmas village and train. The backside of that has a little village of Frozen characters.

We walked back through Epcot to the car and drove over to see the Grand Floridian hotel and its amazing 4 story tree and gingerbread house so large people stand in it to sell food - we got there after the food vendor was closed, but we took time to walk around in the lobby and on the second floor. Always such a beautiful favorite - this year's tree theme is the 12 Days of Christmas.
