We started off on Friday by sleeping in and puttering around the condo, including doing some laundry. And then we made sure that we were inside Hollywood Studios in time for our Mama Melrose lunch reservation at 1:35pm. We haven't been here in a few years. It was a really good lunch and Chef Chappy made sure that I had safe spaghetti bolognese as well as a grilled chicken breast and then delicious lemon sorbet.
After lunch we went to Wesley's current favorite show here - Indiana Jones Stunt-spectacular which only recently returned after Covid. We had obstructed view seats but we made it into the stadium.
Then it was off to Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway, followed by Toy Story Midway Mania. There are a lot of great photo opportunities for pride month around the park and this was one.
Parker's high score beat the whole family - 174,000!
We headed over to Galaxy's Edge because the wait time for Rise of the Resistance finally dipped below 95 minutes - to 65. This is the newest Star Wars ride that opened last year and we had not ridden it yet. This is the single most immersive ride inside of Disney World - you really feel like you have been taken aboard the Empire's Star Destroyer. So, so good!!!!!
We finished up our night with a family ride on Rock N Roll Coaster. Only Wesley and I have ever ridden this and everyone else decided to finally give it a try. They loved it!
On the way out we got to see the Tower of Terror all lit up!
It was a really lovely day and a great end to our park days for this vacation.
