We became official Sarasota residents this week as we voted in our first Sarasota County primary elections.
Tuesday night we also took the dogs and explored the Twin Lakes park not too far away from us. This is a huge park with football field, soccer field and four little league fields for youth sports. There are also five fields used by the Baltimore Orioles minor league baseball team. And there's this nice walking path of a half mile around a lake at the north end of the park.
Wesley keeps spotting deer and bunnies in the neighbor's yards on his way to the bus in the mornings.
Some days its nice just to dip your toes in the pool when you come home even if you don't have time for swimming before the evening thunderstorms roll in.
Twice in the last two weeks I've borrowed office space at Daryl's church in Venice to finish up computer work after being in the south end of the district for meetings. It's been nice to hang out in the same campus as him again for a bit.
