Labyrinth walk this week - this is my prayer for Palestine and Israel.
Last Sunday, I worshipped with Wesley UMC on Marco ISland and did their charge conference.
Then it was off to First UMC Naples and North Naples UMC for their charge conferences (we met in their chapel).
Sandy Voigt our district admin assistant, Pastor Arlene Jackson, and Nancy Metz our district lay leader officiated a meeting in Charlotte Harbor on Sunday night. These ladies were the best part of that meeting.
Monday night it was off to Parrish UMC for their charge conference. This is their new sanctuary building, gorgeous inside and out.
Wednesday I spent all day in Fort Myers. Two meetings with pastors and one meeting with an SPR committee, before finishing up the day at Cypress Lake UMC for their charge conference (they approved a new building project).
Thursday this week was spent at Daryl's church in Venice with all of the district leadership as we went through an Appreciative Inquiry process, dreaming about our future. This was led by our amazing conference co-lay leader, Alice Williams (who used to work in HR at Disney).
Another full and busy, but good week.
