For the last six weeks I've been practicing on Monday nights with the Sarasota Choral Society at Church of the Palms in Sarasota. We've been working on Handel's Messiah. I have loved the practice times. It feels so good to be back singing again. And I could hear the voices of my Grandpa Keller and my dear friend Diane Wright cheering me on and telling me how to breathe and enunciate my words. Over the weekend we got to put on our performance - 130 voice choir, 15 piece orchestra and 4 soloists - in front of a sold out crowd.
The view from the loft before the people came in.
Daryl got some really great pictures during the performance.
It brought back so many good memories to sing the Messiah again! Another wonderful way to celebrate the Christmas holidays here in our new town.
