Sometimes you need a little Disney magic. This week it came in the form of a trip for Amy's belated birthday. I left after work on Wednesday afternoon and came back on Thursday night. Amy had booked a beautiful royal princess room at Disney's Port Orleans Riverside.
Thursday morning started with allergy friendly beignets and a cappuccino.
Then we were off to Epcot by bus. They've opened up the newly redone center of Epcot again and there is this great statue of Walt Disney you can have your picture taken with.
We also walked through Moana's Journey of Water
In Italy in the World Showcase, I finally got to meet my friend the Rev. Dr. Lisa Morrison in person. She and I were both in the DMin program at Garrett together. She's a hospital chaplain in Cleveland and her family is down here on a Disney trip this week. Small world!!!!
The Lunar New Year decorations were up in China.
I got some new charms to add to my Pandora bracelet.
During the festival of the Arts, this guy was painting a portrait of Minnie Mouse outside on one of the stages in 15 minutes.
One of my best childhood Disney memories - Living with the Land boat ride.
And I finished off the day with an allergy friendly cupcake back at our resort.
