At Lake Junaluska, I rented the same VRBO I stayed at in 2022 on the hill near Shackford Hall. The gardens and the view are so pretty.
I visited the Memorial Chapel and walked the Labyrinth.
I also took time to visit the Susanna Wesley Garden. Love this place tucked in beside the Terrace Hotel.
I also visited some dear friends in Asheville on Friday for lunch and they took me to 12 Bones Smokehouse. Absolutely delicious brown sugar ribs!
On the last night in NC, I visited the cross on Inspiration Point and then walked the whole of the lake trail (about 2.5 miles). One of the bridges was given by members of First UMC in Bradenton.
Here was sunrise on the last morning as I left town.
