Disney Fun Time

I drove home from Georgia on Thursday and went straight to Disney World for Amy's birthday trip. We stayed at the Animal Kingdom Lodge, Jambo House side, and had a pool view room. So very nice!

The flamingo habitat was just beyond the pool and we could see some of the other animals just beyond the fence.

Disney always delivers on the allergy friendly food. These cupcakes from Erin McKenna's were in the cold case for a late night snack.

We had a delicious breakfast in their sit down restaurant Boma one morning. And my breakfast from their quick service restaurant Mara the next day was tagged up with my allergies.

After getting situated in the room, we took the bus over to Animal Kingdom. They still had their Christmas decorations up throughout.

We rode Flight of Passage in Pandora. 

And then had an amazing lunch at Tiffins!

And then we rode Expedition Everest. 

We walked past Dinoland which is soon to become a new land for Encanto. 

 

 

And we got pictures with Chip and Dale. 

 

 Then we took the bus over to Hollywood Studios. I beat Amy at Midway Mania.

And then we wandered through the Star Wars land and were pilots for the Smugglers Run ride.

 

And we finished up the night with the Muppets 3D movie, which is going away soon, before getting hot chocolate and going back to the hotel. 

Friday we spent in Epcot. We wandered through the Seabase before going over to ride the Land. 

 

Then it was time for Figment and the Pixar short movie festival. 

 

 

 

 

There's a special meet and greet right now for Disney Chase Visa cardholders, so we popped in there. 

 

And we got our picture taken in one of Art Festival photo shoot booths. 

 

 

We spent a little bit of time in China but they didn't have much out for Lunar New Year yet. 

 

We met Winnie the Pooh in England! 

We tried to ride Guardians of the Galaxy but it broke down while we were in line. We waited for an hour and then got out to go ride Soarin. And we wandered through this great display highlighting Disney on Broadway - such cool costumes. It was a couple of long days but good days hanging out.
