Friday night Davis and I drove to Lakeland to pick up Parker and then over to the Space Coast to spend the night. Our little road trip was so that we could go to a funeral on Saturday for Amy Hill's mom. Terri was the 17th clergywoman ordained in the Florida Conference. She was the youngest woman to serve as a DS and she also chaired the Conference Board of Ordained Ministry. There were over 50 clergy there to honor her memory including 2 bishops. And her 4 covenant sisters led the service. We were glad to be there to support Amy and CJ and the kids.
