Holy Week Around the District

I started off the week with Palm Sunday worship out at one of our smaller part-time churches in Sebring, Spring Lake UMC. It's very close to the speedway. 

 Then for Maundy Thursday I was at Parrish UMC, one of our biggest churches in the district, for their communion service. 

For Good Friday I walked the Stations of the Cross again through downtown with the Sarasota Ministerial Alliance and I read part of station 12. There were a few other UM pastors participating: Rev. Brett DeHart from First UMC Sarasota and Rev. Linda Tice from Trinity UMC Sarasota. Afterwards we went to the prayer service at Church of the Redeemer and then finished up with breakfast along with Rev. Tom Pfaff the head of the Ministerial Alliance. 

Afterwards I drove down to Venice to participate with Daryl's church for their Good Friday Tenebrae Service. Wesley and Davis were there too in the tech booth.
